Cal. 30-30. S# 4087224. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester in 1974. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations, as well as Winchester's mfg. information. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood straight grip stock and buttstock with Winchester checkered black synthetic buttplate. Ramped and hooded blade front sight (bead absent) with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Left side of the receiver has been drilled and tapped with a black enamel finish alloy scope mount. CONDITION: metal components retain fair to good amounts of their blue finish, showing areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina, as well as scattered spots of light pitting and surface oxidation. Left side of the receiver exhibits patches of mild pitting, with the right exhibiting consistent light pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows general overall wear, scattered marks & impressions, as well as flaking to its varnish finish.
